Position Overview Hubbell’s Enterprise Marketing (HEM) Account Manager acts as a strategic business partner to businesses/brands (Aclara and HUS (Hubbell Utility Solutions) Grid Control) serving the St. Louis market. They work with VP/GMs, product managers and sales leaders to develop a marketing plan in support of the business’ growth objectives and work with HEM to execute against that plan. Account Managers serve as trusted advisors to St. Louis business leaders understanding their suite of brands/products and markets supporting their needs at all phases of the product life cycle from inception through retirement.Account Manager collaborates closely between their clients and cross-functional HEM teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of a holistic marketing approach to position Hubbell and its brands and products to be market leaders.The Account Manager is familiar with a vast number of field's concepts, practices and procedures and relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. They perform a variety of tasks as well as lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is encouraged. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with business and sales leaders for assigned client accounts and serve as the primary point of HEM team contact for them
  • Work with business and sales leaders to develop strategic marketing plans in support of growth objectives.
  • Work with Manager of HUS Account Management to make recommendations for a communication cadence with business and sales leaders, as well as program additions, adjustments based on the competitive landscape and metrics.
  • Work hand-in-hand with HUS project manager and HEM shared services to ensure the timely and successful delivery of HEM solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to key partners
  • Improve department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Collaborate closely between the HEM team and clients to deliver outstanding client service on a day-to-day basis
  • May make recommendations, forecast and track key account metrics, including effective deployment of marketing budgets
  • Continue education by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Understand the capabilities and services of HEM and partner effectively with team members to support client needs
Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field of study
  • A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience with agency background desirable
  • Demonstrated marketing, account management, strategic marketing planning or other relevant experience
  • Experience utilizing Hubspot and Workfront a plus
  • Previous utilities experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in delivering customer-focused solutions based on their needs
  • Shown ability to lead multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Expert at Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and help desk support software
  • Experience to lead high-performing, cross-functional teams to achieve outstanding results
