Job Description
Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure customer trust through consistently delivering on commitments
  • Drive customer success by enabling PG and Sales strategies that meet revenue, GM%, MS, and other objectives
  • Support new technology product selections and business opportunities, together with Account Director, Account Technologist/Field Process Engineer, Product Group and Process Engineering
  • Identify business opportunities, by understating Lam process/technology capabilities and customer requirements
  • Together with Account Director, analyze new product and upgrade opportunities, prepare strategies, and negotiate deals with customer commercial and technical team(s) Define package(s) based on performance data, customer priorities, that best fit Lam product offerings
  • Define and gain Beta/Evaluation systems and hardware agreements, together with Product GroupEnsure Beta test success criteria and test plan agreement, support alignment, acceptance, and closure
  • Meet forecast accuracy per annual goals/targets (revenue and target pricing)
  • Align forecast for owned product(s) within Lam SAP/CRM systems, adjusting for changes in plans and/or revenue
  • Regular forecast reviews with Sales & Bus. Ops, align on short shipment/BKO’s with customer & install team
  • Accountable for quote accuracy, pricing, T&C’s
Other Job Responsibilities
  • Manage customer development and high volume install base issues and projects, per contractual commitments
  • Identify projects that help improve GM% and module profitability
  • Analyze TCoO & other operational data, with Product Group and Customer Service/Sustaining Organization
  • Coordinate responses to customer purchase specifications, commercial and legal contracts, etc.
  • Work with Product Group(s) and CSBG to position upgrade opportunities•Manage customer priorities on current and future development projects
  • Ensure new products and processes are successful out in the field
  • Coordinate CFT meetings and actively progress A/R’s to bring projects to completion, on time and within budget
  • Non-technical project completion using external customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery
  • Prepare, qualify, and proliferate upgrades in cooperation with Account Director, PM, Technologist/Process Engineer, and Product Group Technologist
  • Oversee technology transfers and HVM ramps with Technologist/PM/FPE/Service Team
  • Support customer and account new technology and ramp planning meetings across global HVM factories
  • Ensure high functioning Lam-internal multi-site “Grapevine” is in place, proliferate shared learnings across sites, so that customer site teams are informed of new products/projects, and can successfully manage local site customers
Minimum Qualifications

BS / BA in Technical Discipline

  • MBA Preferred
  • 5+ years in Account Management, Sales or Sales support activities in Semiconductor Capital Equipment
  • Account management experience with key/global customer
  • Project management experience preferred

  • Sales and customer relationship management skills
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data (Lam and customer data sources)
  • Understanding of basic statistics, mathematics, wafer fab equipment, semiconductor process technologies
  • Wafer fab equipment product and competitive knowledge
