Job Description
  • Perform installations IAW the approved installation schedule
  • Record all ECPs in the vehicle log book and maintain configuration tracking
  • Assist the FSRs in repair and maintenance, inspection, and duties as directed
  • Keeps track of parts and materials used in installation activities
  • Plans sequence of functions necessary for installation projects
  • Performs duties at company established performance levels
  • Keeps supervisors apprised of work progress and ensures that the final work product is inspected by supervisor or designee
  • Monitors operation of newly installed equipment
  • Demonstrates operation of newly installed equipment
  • Performs related troubleshooting tasks based on skill level
  • Maintains a safe work area for customers and coworkers
  • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping crawling and bending
  • Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity noise dust and wetness

Required Experience
  • Highs School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Four (4) plus years of military-tactical vehicle maintenance experience within the last eight (8) years
  • Possess a current US passport or ability to obtain on within 30 days
  • Understand military maintenance procedures
  • Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS and on short notice
  • Ability to spend extended periods of time in austere field conditions
  • Also may be required to perform duties aboard Naval Shipping for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 51 lbs
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government CAC
  • Read, interpret and speak English
  • Basic math skills
  • Working knowledge of proper and unsafe use of equipment
  • Knowledge of installation and product specifications
  • Excellent organizational/sequencing skills
  • Familiarization with reading and interpreting diagrams
  • Forklift experience/certification preferred or ability to be certified required
  • Valid Driver's License Required
  • Background check required
