The Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly is creating a pool of eligible part-time lecturers for possible assignments during the Summer, Fall, Winter, and/or Spring Quarters of the 2020-21 academic year to teach communication in business (writing, speaking, presentation skills), leadership development, and topics on the interface between business and technology. Assignments will be contingent upon budget and enrollments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree in appropriate discipline required. Must demonstrate a strong teaching record and currency in professional field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Doctoral degree in appropriate discipline preferred.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Following a conditional offer of employment, a background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate may start work with Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may result in the withdrawal of the offer of employment. Note: Cal Poly cannot deny an applicant a position solely or in part due to a criminal conviction history until it has performed an individualized assessment and linked the relevant conviction history with specific job duties in the position being sought.
