Job Description

Job Title: 1DA Flight Administration Jumpseat Admin

Department: Flight Administration - Air Service Center-ASC, 911 Grade Lane

Days: Monday - Friday Hours: Mon-Thu 22:30-04:30, Fri 23:30-05:30 Hours Per Week: 30


Work Environment:
Office environment with repetitive tasks. Will be working directly with other members of the Flight Administration team and Flight Crewmembers. The dress code for the office is business casual-but with jeans Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds. Must be able to stand on your feet for the duration of the shift or remain seated for an extended amount of time. Computer work along with phone call activity.


Job Summary:
Your primary responsibility will be using a computer, booking jump seat requests and printing jump seat passes. However, you will be considered a floater and required to learn all areas within Flight Administration. Those include, but are not limited to, assisting crewmembers with luggage/uniform requests, passport/VISA applications, sleep room assistance, flight control paperwork and assisting with general iPad questions. You must be extremely flexible to work whatever area when necessary to cover breaks and/or in other team members absence. Job duties can change daily.


Job Description:
Job requires printing and checking jump seat credentials. Can be fast-paced and requires a significant amount of detail. Candidate must be able to maintain a positive attitude and remain effective while operating under stress. This position requires compliance to UPS, aviation/jumposeat, FAA, TSA regulations. This position requires the candidate to learn other positions within Flight Administration for back-up purposes. They include, passport/visas, sleep rooms, uniforms/luggage, Flight control Support, etc. Candidate must be computer literate and be able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment. Quick decision making and answering crewmember and jumpseat personnel questions is critical. Must be able to research and accurately deliver information to your internal customers, peers and management team. Will work with other departments regarding jumpseat issues.

  • Ability to work independently and with team.

  • Excellent communication (phone, oral, written).

  • Organizational skills a must.

  • Excellent attendance record/dependability is required.

  • Microsoft Office Skills-Basic knowledge.



Preferred Skills:

  • Customer service skills, people skills, team player, positive attitude, flexible, enthusiastic, adaptability, organized and ability to work with minimal supervision is a must.

  • Additional systems and computer skills a plus.

Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to work with a team in a productive and customer service environment.
