Summary

Pediatrics 5280 has served the South Denver community for over 45 years. With offices in Centennial and Castle Rock, and appointments available almost 365 days a year, our goal is to provide the best care possible for infants, children, and teenagers living throughout Lone Tree, Parker, Highlands Ranch, and the rest of the south metro region.

Our office is growing and we are looking to add an additional part-time Patient Care Coordinator to be a part of our awesome team! If you would enjoy working in the medical field and love to be around children, we want to hear from you!

Patient Care Coordinator PART-TIME (three full days per week).

Office hours Monday - Friday 8-5:30, Saturdays 8am-12pm.

Centennial and Castle Rock offices. Must be willing to work at both locations.

Essential Job Duties

-Answer and direct all incoming calls to appropriate department.

-Coordinate and schedule patient appointments.

-Greet patients and visitors upon arrival. Ensure patients feel welcome and comfortable.

-Update patient registration, collect insurance information and co-pays at the time of check in.

-Use online medical record systems and data bases to perform daily tasks.

-Complete administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and sorting.

-Maintain efficient patient flow.

-Collaborate with peers and departments to establish a high level of service.

-Assure patient and office confidentiality according to HIPPA standards.

Desired Qualities- High energy, positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, professional appearance, excellent telephone etiquette, organized, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to switch tasks easily. Ability to multitask and perform under stressful situations. Must have working knowledge of a multi-line phone system, proficient typing skills, and basic computer skills. At least a high school diploma or GED is required.
