Custom Logistics in Union City, CA is looking for a Full-time Warehouse Picker/Packer. Must be self-starting, and an independent worker with the flexibility to also work closely with a small crew.

Duties:

  • Pick orders to palatalize them, or appropriately pack smaller orders for Fedex/UPS.
  • Verify orders that other employees have picked.
  • Pack orders that have been verified.
  • Use manual strap tensioner to strap pallets for shipment.
  • Use an electric turntable to wrap pallets for shipment.
  • Load pallets into shipping trucks at the end of the day.
  • Maintain a clean work area and warehouse.
  • Lift multiple boxes that weigh up to 70 lbs on a CONSISTENT basis.

Qualifications:
  • Good attention to detail for matching up correct products with the corresponding invoice.
  • Basic math skills for counting boxes and determining the total quantity of pieces per shipment.
  • Candidate must be able to lift boxes up to 70 lbs.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience using electric/manual pallet jack, standup and sitdown forklift, and reach truck.
  • Warehouse/General labor experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Salary:
$15 - $20 hourly.
