JOB SUMMARY
Responsible to direct employees in field operations on roadside projects.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- A Division Supervisor will have the responsibility of between 2 to 6 crews.
- Will be responsible to properly setup and maintain proper work zone traffic control on highways and bridges.
- Recommends disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
- Follow-up on job quality and crew productivity.
- Assure foreman have necessary equipment and materials according to contract specifications.
- Follow-up on operation to assure crews are performing up to company standards, and contract specifications.
- Make contact with customers as quality assurance follow-up.
- Documentation of customer contacts.
- Provide follow-up training with employees in the field.
- Assist in sales efforts by attending pre- & post-bid meetings, estimating, performing measurements, collecting data and developing positive relationships with existing customers.
- Assure employees are complying with all Regulatory and Company Safety Policies and Procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of traffic control experience are required.
- Traffic control supervisor or technician certificate preferred, but not required. We will train and get certified proper applicants.
- Previous supervisory, budgeting, estimating and operational, facility and subordinate development experience preferred.
- Must possess good interpersonal skills, be a team player and have good communication skills.
- Must be available for travel.
