We are currently seeking compassionate individuals who are looking to start their career in a long-term care setting. With this position, no previous training is necessary, just the desire to make a difference in the lives of our residents!

Upon completion of ACHA’s 8 hour Temporary Nurse Aide Training Program, our team of skilled professionals will provide you with the 80 hours of clinical training needed to become a Temporary Nurse Aide!!

What will I be doing?

• Providing hygiene care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, taking and recording vital signs, and assisting with height and weight measurements, if necessary

• Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping

• Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the Plan of Care, and documenting observed changes to the Supervisor

What do I need to work at Garden Spring?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of AHCA’s Temporary Nursing Assistant training program - https://educate.ahcancal.org/TNA
• Excellent communication and observation skills
• English as a first or second language with the ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to perform essential job duties
