PURPOSE: Create and maintain electronic guided assembly instructions. Reports directly to the Department Supervisor.


JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Generate and sustain guided instructions for assembly of new and existing products.
  • Implement change requests to electronic guided instructions as directed.
  • Assist transition from paper prints to electronic work instructions for current products.
  • Maintain and improve company-standard methods & best practices for electronic Guided Instructions.
  • Collaborate with QA to ensure ongoing compliance with all documentation requirements.
  • Review, understand, and follow the departmental procedures, Specifications, Plant Rules and Regulations and the Job Hazard Analysis that are associated with the performance of this job.
  • Obey all safety rules, maintain the cleanliness of the work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.


BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • 4 year degree + 1 year of experience OR
  • 2 year degree + 3 years of experience OR
  • 5 years of experience, some of which should be in a production support role.
  • Must have ability to use common hand & power tools.
  • Exceptional written communication skills required.
  • Must have an excellent attendance, safety, and work record.
  • Must have an uncompromising attitude toward quality.
  • Exposure to or willingness to learn both the Apriso MES system and software to generate electronic assembly instructions.
  • Microsoft Office skills needed and SAP skills desired.
  • Must understand and embrace a culture of Continuous Improvement and 5S.
