A typical branch office has one financial advisor who meets with clients face-to-face and one branch office administrator who enhances the team's ability to build deep relationships with clients. Headquarters associates in St. Louis and Tempe provide support and expertise to help U.S. and Canada branch teams deliver an ideal client experience. Edward Jones currently has more branch offices than any other financial services firm, and we continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual investors. Tailored Solutions, a department of our Client Strategies Group, is responsible for driving branch teams' delivery of custom applications with the right mix of products and core services by providing branch teams with what they need to know, do, and say to meet our client needs. We do this by leading the launch strategy and execution of new products, services, advice and guidance, as well as Portfolio tools.

The Team Lead, Solutions Distribution role is responsible for developing and executing on team goals, and monitoring team performance in support of both the department and firm objectives. Further responsibilities include:

  • Providing appropriate resources, support and direction to help associates meet the needs of the team and firm
  • Providing feedback, coaching, training and guidance to help develop associates to enhance current and future contributions
  • Representing department on division and firm-wide committees and projects
  • Leading a team of solutions specialists and project leaders whose responsibilities include:
    • Accelerating the consistent application of the 5-step Process (solutions-based advice) to enable every branch team to deliver tailored solutions to meet client needs.
    • Integrating and apply the firm's ongoing advice and guidance with products and services into training, tools, coaching and performance support.
    • Launching and supporting new and enhanced tools, products, services, and advice and guidance that meet client needs.
    • Driving branch team's delivery of tailored solutions (the application of the right mix of investments, insurance, banking, cash, trust and/or core services) by providing what branch teams need to know, do and say.
    • Influencing and assist in the creation and delivery of firm training to apply the 5-step process, primary client needs, product knowledge and client segmentation.
    • Supporting and in some cases leading targeted, practice management level-based support programs for trimester action plan hand-raisers.

Position Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred
  • Series 7 & 66 required
  • CFP/CFA highly desired
  • Generally 7 years of experience in respective area or financial services industry
  • Previous formal or informal leadership experience
  • Seeking someone with both people leadership skills and project leadership skills
  • Must be able to effectively lead initiatives while managing other associates
  • Must have strong relationship skills to help lead change management while driving for results
  • Prefer someone with Change Management experience
