    About the Position: The position is located in the US Army, Integrated Logistics Support Center - Combat Maneuver and Recovery PSID and Force Pojection PSID. The ILSC provides full service logistics support to the U.S. Army's most important weapon system, the Soldier. The Center manages and oversees a comprehensive, integrated program for major and secondary Department of Defense items and insures supportability and operational readiness of Combat Maneuver and Recovery items.


    Responsibilities
    • Serves as the Lifecycle Logistics Group Leader within an Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) Product Support Integration Directorate (PSID) responsible for providing program management, planning, execution and review.
    • Represent the ILSC at meetings with respect to Tank Automotive Command (TACOM), Life Cycle Materiel Command (LCMC), Department of Army (DA) and Department of Defense (DoD) activities.
    • Coordinate activities concerning ILSC business and commodity areas with outside agencies and within TACOM LCMC. Within this framework, you will:
    • Analyze agency program planning, funding, and management information systems to provide logistical support.
    • Collaborate with internal and external staff elements to determine the effect of major program changes on budgets, cost and performance, schedule, etc.
    • Determine policy deficiencies in overall operations to make necessary modifications in policies, procedures, functional changes and assignments.
    • Provide leadership to team members or other staff elements to encourage employee/ personal development and cross-functional growth to meet organizational needs.

    In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.     Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 grade level in the Federal service which includes (1) Review and analyze organizational elements to recommend plans and major changes to special projects, mission requirements, etc.; (2) Direct the development, execution, and review of formal program and workload forecast schedules/ programs consistent with established plans and policies (i.e. procurement requirements, funding, etc.) to mitigate changes and revisions thereto; (3) Brief agencies and commands of program developments that affect distribution, logistics, and support planning to include required planning for special maintenance or support facilities; (4) Interpret technical policy, procedures and regulations to ensure adherence to schedules and priorities; and (5) Brief leadership or key officials on program status and evaluate policies and proposals involving the assumption of new logistics support missions or programs.

    • Completion of mandatory acquisition certification requirements in Life Cycle Logistics Level III for this position is a condition of employment and must be accomplished within 24 months of assignment.
    • Army Acquisition Logistics and Technology (AL&T) Workforce applicants MUST have an Acquisition Career Record Brief (ACRD) on file in the Career Acquisition Personnel and Position Management Information System (CAPMIS).
    • Army Acquisition Corps (AAC) membership is required prior to appointment to a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP), except as noted in the paragraph below.
