Location: Pala, CA
To assist the Executive Steward in all phases of kitchen cleaning and sanitation. To instruct dishwashers in proper cleaning and sanitation techniques.
- Minimum two years high volume cooking experience.
- Must read, write and understand English; bilingual ability is a plus.
- Must have knowledge on use of MSDS sheets.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Essential Job Functions:
- Control normal operation of assigned station.
- Follow executive steward’s guidelines accordingly.
- Utilize proper sanitation techniques, following health and safety standards.
- Notify Executive Steward or Sous chefs of problems that arise and/or how they have been corrected.
- Responsible for expediting and coordinating dish areas.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of MSDS and chemicals.
- Able to work all dish machines and glass machines.
- Work closely with Executive Steward to achieve company goals.
- Responsible to help train and monitor dishwasher training.
- Perform other duties.
