Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking for a Sterile Processing Technician to support the Operating Rooms at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in downtown Jacksonville. This is a PRN position will a schedule of 9:00AM - 5:30PM. As a Sterile Processing Tech, your responsibilities include:

• Assessing, planning and/or delivery of prep & sterile, patient care & environmental requirements
• Oversee all instrumentation, equipment & supplies for unit
• Assisting with patient care, computer data entry, materials oversight, anesthesia supply oversight & environmental oversight.
• Maintains all sterilization records and sterilization equipment using standards set by AORN

High School Diploma/GED

Associate's Degree

• 1-2 years Instrument Experience
• Linen Processing Experience
• Knowledge of regulatory protocols.
• Scope experience preferred (colorectal, urology, and head/neck)

• IAHCSMM CERTIFIED REGISTERED CENTRAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN (CRCST) must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
