If so, we are looking for you to join our team! The Senior Manager, MuleSoft Self-Paced Training owns the creation of an innovative, engaging, and effective self-paced learning experience. You will partner with our technical product managers, who are responsible for the learning path roadmaps, and work with your team to take technical content and create an engaging consumption model that helps individuals to become proficient in the use of MuleSoft technologies. The content is of all length and depth, from introductory to deeply technical and advanced, for roles including Citizen Integrator, Developer, Architect, and Operations.

What you’ll achieve:

3 months:

  • Complete Salesforce and MuleSoft onboarding programs

  • Become familiar with MuleSoft’s existing training and certification portfolio, roadmap, initiatives, and priorities

  • Become familiar with MuleSoft’s existing online learning program, systems, format, and content

  • Become familiar with the functional and technical capabilities of the Learning Management System with respect to creating, delivering, and making self-paced content discoverable

  • Take over management of the self-paced content production team

  • Take over management of the vendors who help develop and produce self-paced content

  • Take ownership of the self-paced content production schedule and deliver all content within service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Review, analyze, and report on all existing program data and metrics

12 months:

  • Drive short-term and long-term program, system, and format changes to increase student engagement, student satisfaction, content completion, and student certifications

  • Review, analyze, and report on all program data and metrics regularly

  • Identify data gaps and design and implement ways to obtain that data

  • Become an expert on the functional and technical capabilities of the Learning Management System so that you can consider and best use it in the design of self-paced content

  • Recommend system enhancements and/or new systems to improve the learner experience and drive outcomes

  • Structure days of learning content with digestible milestones and guidance throughout to shepherd learners to achieve learning objectives and outcomes

  • Drive the development of personalized learner journeys with suggested content

  • Design and implement a comprehensive communication plan for interactions and continuous engagement with students

  • Participate in the design and implementation of a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for new releases

  • Ensure that all self-paced content is high quality and kept current within SLAs, owning the production and delivery of the content to the portfolio operations team

  • Drive creation of internal and external community-sourced learning content

What you’ll need to be successful:

Experience developing engaging, technical, self-paced content and/or programs:

  • 5+ years leading the implementation of innovative learning solutions in fast-paced environments for a highly technical audience including developers and/or architects

  • Familiarity with tools and their pros and cons for creating self-paced learning content

Experience with self-paced learning technologies:

  • Knowledge of and experience with some of the latest virtual learning theories and technologies

  • Familiarity with one or more Learning Management Systems

  • (Nice to have) Experience with Salesforce and Trailhead

  • Technical experience:

  • Ability to explore, discover, and master system functional and technical capabilities with little to no guidance

  • Ability to understand technologies and system architectures sufficiently in order to recommend innovative solutions

Management and leadership experience:

  • 5+ years managing a globally distributed development team

  • Ability to successfully collaborate with geographically distributed teams

  • Proven track record devising and successfully implementing short-term and long-term strategies to achieve desired business outcomes

  • Ability to plan, manage, and deliver projects on time and within budget, while effectively communicating strategy, goals, and requirements with all stakeholders

  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail-oriented, especially with regards to written output

  • Independent, creative, self-starter with the ability to be successful in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
