Runner – Medical Staff Support
Overview:
The community has a need for timely and accurate COVID-19 results and information to protect themselves and others during this pandemic. GS Labs is responding to this call-to-action. We are prepared to provide this testing in a professional, safe environment and need reliable and detail-oriented people willing to join our team. Our testing sites are typically open Monday - Friday from 8AM - 6PM; and Saturday/Sunday from 9AM - 5PM. Runners are expected to arrive 10 minutes prior to scheduled shift.
Position Summary:
The RUNNER is the first interaction with the customer. When a customer arrives, the Runner's duties may include:

• Meeting patient at their vehicle immediately upon arrive, confirming full name and information
• Collecting additional patient or insurance information in a professional manner
• Quickly bringing information into Admin and Billing team
• Retrieving the (protected/covered) completed swab or test and quickly running it to the Lab department for processing
• Additional, similar duties as assigned

• You must be able to withstand varying weather conditions as the position will have both indoor and outdoor components.
• This position will support RNs and Admin staff, so the team member must take direction well and possess the ability to react quickly in our fast-paced environment.
• A qualified applicant must be detail oriented, dependable, and fast-paced.
• This position requires physical mobility, the ability to listen, read, and write.
• The incumbent of this position must show up to work in a timely fashion, possess good hygiene, and be responsible for wearing and/or bringing all appropriate outer wear.
