Residential Advisor (Dormitory Monitor)

ParadigmWorks Group Inc. is currently seeking an energetic, people-oriented Residential Advisor (Dormitory Monitor) to join our dynamic team in Milwaukee, WI.

This position is 3rd shift (11:30pm-8:30am) and includes weekends

Job Summary:

Assists students by providing supervision, social skills development and mentoring. Provides daily supervision or assistance in monitoring student’s dorm chore assignments, special recreation activities, cafeteria monitoring, transportation, and programmed activities. Provides informal counseling related to stress management, personal problems, emergency or home situations, and provides insight into responsible behavior and attitudes. Prepares reports and annotates logs to ensure accurate documentation of daily observations of student’s progress, performance, behavior and attitudes.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Minimum High School Diploma is REQUIRED. College coursework or college degree is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal, communicative, and engaging skills and abilities.
• Able to coordinate and collaborate with a diverse community and population.
• Computer, telecommunications, and virtual technology skills.
• A valid driver’s license in the state of assignment with no major moving citations within the last 39 months.
• Undergo a background investigation and drug screen with favorable results.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $15-$16; commensurate with experience
• Paid holidays and vacation
