The Regional Velocity Manager is responsible for their dealerships reconditioning and inventory processes. The Regional Velocity Manager will be assigned all dealerships in a geographical area. Role and Responsibilities · Measure and manage used vehicles through the reconditioning process and track it with Rapid Recon software. · Maintain an organized lot to maximize efficiency and provide best customer experience · Manage and work with reconditioning vendor processes and/or vendor management · Asset in input, insight and accountability for all inventory transporting in and out of the dealerships · Oversee and audit their dealerships 30-day report. Inspect each vehicle on the 30-day report to ensure it is retail ready. · Ensure each dealership is following their processes regarding overage units, physical inventory, wholesales, and vehicle images · On-site visits to each dealership once per week with weekly reporting to Platform Velocity Manager and Regional Platform Manger via weekly management calls · Weekly management calls along with monthly visits from the Vehicle Asset Management Team and Reconditioning Managers Preferred Experience and Qualifications · 2 years’ experience in automotive dealership in sales and/or service with an emphasis on reconditioning; CDK experience preferred. · Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of Swickard Auto Group · Positive and motivating attitude who works well in a fast-paced environment. With experience researching and recommending futures activities to increase efficiency and decrease cost to Dealer Group · Excellent organization skills with a focus on cultivating relationships, identifying dealership opportunities and creating clear actionable plans for Dealership Team Members.
