We're looking to recruit a Public Relations Assistant to join our team. The Public Relations Assistant is a proactive and detailed person who coordinates our public relations activities, promotes programs and special events, schedules and events, and provides departmental administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Hunger for success and a strong desire to challenge the status quo to drive for organizational and personal success.

• Keep abreast of industry and competitive trends and regularly informing sales and marketing of noteworthy news items and opportunities

• Establish and manage social media accounts and profiles of the company

• Responsible for branding, advertising, trade shows, company events, and promotional collateral.

• Spearhead the creation of posts, maintaining the calendar, analyzing results, opening new channels, etc.

• Understand, assess, and act on key performance metrics to continually enhance the customer experience.

• Brainstorm creative, out-of-the-box ideas to generate publicity and influencer mentions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred

• Strong communication skills- both verbal and written

• Have an above and beyond attitude

• Experience pitching in industry or commercial media, preferably in the Sportsmants business.

• Interest in the culture and understanding of the media landscape;

• Willingness to work non-standard hours if required.

• Solid decision-making skills and proven self-starter.
