We are a busy orthopedic practice in Louisville, Kentucky looking to hire a PT Tech. The individual should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, a team player, capable of multitasking, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Position Title: PT Tech Reports to: PT Director Assist the PT or PTA with patient treatments as outlined by competency checklist. These tasks may include the application and removal of Ultrasound, Electrical stimulation, moist heat, cold packs, cold laser and Vasopneumatic compression devices. Assist patients in getting on and off of workout equipment. Assist with proper sanitization of all PT clinic equipment, modalities and other contact surfaces. Utilize/learn Intergy scheduling software to assist in scheduling PT appointments Help with data tracking for lost patient call log and call patients for rescheduling as deemed necessary by the PT/PTA. Assist PT front desk in the filing and pulling of charts as time allows after clinical duties have been completed. Utilizing email interoffice communication Update temperature logs for hot pack machines. Maintain water levels in hydrocollators and vasopneumatic compression units.
