Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Director and Manager of Post Production in day-to-day operations to ensure promos are produced efficiently to meet tight deadlines. Key duties include continually updating production project management system, processing service requests, and coordinating with creative pods to discuss needs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enter in versioning info for previously produced promos (linking creative/video/graphics info/audio notes/script) for spots that do not go through a Writer/Producer
- Fulfill Service Desk Requests by utilizing ticketing system (Jira) for Social, Streaming, and miscellaneous requests
- Meet with creative pods weekly to coordinate upcoming creative needs and discuss potential production questions
- Work with Writer/Producers and Creative Directors to ensure production needs are met and promos can be produced with minimal delays
- Work closely with Campaign Managers to anticipate/prepare upcoming spots for production as well as create derivative versions per media orders
- Order and track graphic orders for any upcoming graphic needs
- Assist Director and Manager of Post Production in prepping and creating daily schedule
- Cover for Production Manager as required
- Assist Production as required
- Transcode and deliver All Access promos as required
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Television or Film production and/or 5+ years related experience in field
- Extensive knowledge of audio and video for production technologies and processes (i.e., Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, etc)
- Knowledge of linear and nonlinear editing, audio editing, and animated graphics elements
- Understanding of video CODECs, compression, video file formats, and metadata
- Understanding of file-based post-production workflows
- Knowledge of the Mac and Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, database systems, and general word processing
- Understand workflow process of post-production
- Familiarity with Jira ticketing system
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Possess strong written and communication skills
- Work well under pressure to meet daily deadlines
