Position Overview

The Project Assistant will manage revenue collection and financial reporting for electric utility construction projects for major public utilities. The role will be responsible for assisting with proactive project financial reporting and A/R invoice creation/management.

This position will work out of our Wamsutter, WY office. Per Diem will be provided to employees traveling to these locations.


Tasks

  • Compile construction project revenue and costs into accurate weekly and monthly reports
  • Assist and support the Project Management team with project financial status visibility
  • Create accurate and timely weekly and monthly Accounts Receivable invoices
  • Reconcile daily or weekly timesheets for job cost processing and A/R invoice prep
  • Maintain Microsoft Excel A/R Invoice and reporting models
  • Work diligently and cooperatively with the Customers’ Accounting Reps to satisfy invoicing requirements and requested revisions
  • Assist project management team as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience with project controls and/or accounts receivable is strongly preferred
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite with strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s).
