nEssential Functions:nn

• Provide expertise exhibiting a depth of knowledge across operations to include operational, engineering, maintenance, system test and technical management disciplines.
n
• Work directly with the customer to determine project requirements, develop a work plan, execute the work and deliver their part on the work performed.
n
• Act as the hiring manager for assigned projects/programs; supervise the screening, selection, and hiring of all candidates.
n
• Ensure projects/programs are executed to the highest level of safety and compliance while maintaining all personnel meet professional standards.
n
• Accomplish performance appraisals, provide feedback to and mentor employees, take corrective or developmental actions as required.
n
• Participate in proposal writing, review, and development of cost and pricing data.
n
• Analyze operational capability requirements and determine adequate technical solutions.
n
• Perform technical evaluations of contractor proposals for program management personnel and Government Contracting Officers.
n
• Develop acquisition strategy, project schedules, program plans, financial plans and other time-sensitive documentation.
n
• Develop Program budget, forecasts, and Contribution Margin analysis.
n
• Prepare contract Statements of Work and Contract Data Requirements Lists.
n
• Assist customer program managers in monitoring contractor schedule and performance.
n
• Research existing and evolving technology for application to the programs.
n
• Act as primary company interface with customers.
n
• Be a champion of AEVEX culture and values in all aspects of day to day functions.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

n

n
• Bachelor's Degree
n
• Secret clearance, Top Secret preferred
n
• Military or Defense Industry experience in managing flight operations, logistics, or maintenance programs (highly desired)
n
• Must have experience and understanding of Group 3-5 UAS operations
n
• Experience in SOF aviation/operations (highly desired)
n
• Familiarity with US Military and Federal Acquisition Regulations (desired)
n
• 3-5 years of Project/Program management experience (desired)
n
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (certification required within 6 months of employment)
n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Products to include Word, Excel, Project, and Access
n
• Proficiency with Adobe Products to include Acrobat and Photoshop
n
