Summary:

We are seeking a Product Manager for our Chattanooga Recovery Sciences business based in Dallas, TX. This leader will develop winning strategies to drive the profitable growth of assigned product categories across the global business. It requires the ability to succeed in a fast moving, global environment, working with diverse teams, business models, technologies, and end user dynamics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop multi-generation product plans, product positioning, and pricing strategy, and prioritize the NPD pipeline to maximize Recovery Sciences profitable growth.
  • Use Voice of Customer research techniques to determine user needs and translate into successful product development, customer segmentation, and marketing programs.
  • Review new product ideas to determine strategic fit; recommend project priorities.
  • Develop the business case and marketing inputs to the NPD process for new product development and enhancement including identification of market segments, product positioning, product bundling, pricing and profitability.
  • Participate in analysis and due diligence necessary to expand the business through mergers/acquisitions.
  • Monitor competitive products and marketing activities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners.
  • Work across the global commercial teams, project teams, and customers to develop product strategies and marketing programs.
  • Make recommendations on the current and future market strategy based on assessment of competitive environment and customer requirements.
  • Own revenue and margin target for applicable products.
  • Have strategic responsibilities in supporting key business priorities.
  • Coordinate product commercialization including coordination of other resources such as communications, systems, legal, vendors, etc.
  • Ensure marketing programs adhere to compliance regulations and policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferably in Business/Marketing, Engineering, or a healthcare clinical field; or equivalent. MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In depth knowledge of healthcare industry and medical devices is strongly preferred
  • Must have the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Excellent project management skills including planning, organization, implementation, achievement of deadlines, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated competence with general computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Internet.
