Cognizant is searching for a change manager to join the team at a trusted vendor partner. We are transforming our current operational structure into a best in class global operation comprising a 1500+ contingent workforce and are looking for additional support needed to implement our Continuous Improvement operational programs.
This change manager will be responsible for creating and implementing change management strategies and plans maximizing workforce adoption and usage and minimizing resistance. You will also be working towards driving faster adoption, higher utilization and proficiency with the changes impacting the organization and the workforce along with influencing others in the organization to make the change successful.
Your Responsibilities
Acts as a bridge between the lean technical consultants and expertise (True North Solutions) with the Vendor Partner (Cognizant) and the client.
Plays a key role in supporting the pilot phase of operation program rollouts to gauge workforce engagement and support success.
Driving the required change by enabling/ empowering the relevant stakeholders and monitoring the change requirements and progress in project management meetings together with relevant stakeholders.
Identifying project/ business relevant stakeholders in the organization and maintaining a stakeholder portfolio throughout the project lifetime.
Co-facilitate regular huddles to discuss continuous improvement
Providing direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions.
Ensuring and supporting so that project teams are integrating change management activities into their project plans.
Developing and implementing required change management process and tools for creating a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by the project together with relevant stakeholders.
Supporting the development and implementation of a structured communication plan to meet the information requirements of the various stakeholders.
Providing input, document requirements and supporting the design and delivery of training programs.
Support the development of lean leaders to help drive change and promote a continuous improvement mindset (possibly too similar to bullet 5)
Contribute to training development
Contribute to the messaging and marketing of lean as a cultural fixture at Client and our vendor partners
Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Strong communication skills – verbal, written, presentation.
Ability to work with and influence a wide range of levels in the organization.
Ability to establish positive working relationships in a global, international organization.
Ability to think and work at a “strategic” level as well as at a “project” level.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Strong negotiating skills are an asset.
Experience in and knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing or six-sigma, or comparable.
