The WordPress Websites team is fully remote, so you’ll have the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the US or CA, or from one of our office locations. This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Colorado, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

As a Principal Product Manager on the Websites team, you will lead customer research, long-term strategy, feature gap identification, roadmap planning, requirements generation, backlog prioritization, experiment design, product delivery and partner outreach in order to deliver outstanding experiences for our Websites customers.

You’ll have the opportunity to drive industry leading experiences across our website editors for all GoDaddy segments, from our most nascent SMBs to our most savvy Pros, helping them work together better at GoDaddy than anywhere else!

What you'll get to do…

  • Develop a deep understanding of the core GoDaddy customer segments, Websites industry, competitors, customer pain points, and major opportunities.
  • Learn from data and customer feedback (internal and external) to identify new Websites experience opportunities.
  • Build a long-term vision for the Websites customer experience.
  • Work with internal partners to determine the business priorities.
  • Work with the engineers to prioritize, sequence, and deliver new capabilities while using our agile process and experimentation mindset.
  • Work with multiple internal teams to solicit feedback, gain buy-in, and communicate all changes.

Your experience should include…

  • Customer centricity - passion for great design and truly delighting users, both internal and external
  • Consumer product knowledge - experience in managing (or working with teams managing) digital consumer products including conversion analysis and optimization, ideally with mobile-first and visual-centric applications
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit - hard-working, individually accountable, passionate about business results who can completely own the delivery of high value initiatives
  • Experience building product tests and plans based on customer pain points and iterating on tests to deliver the best customer solution.
  • Experience working as a product owner (or with product owners) in a data-driven, agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and people skills - can work well with users at all levels, including C-Level executives.

You might also have

  • Experience using JIRA, Tableau, Google Analytics, Clicktale, and/or Mixpanel.
  • Experience working on remote and distributed teams.
