Description:Job Summary:
Phlebotomists operate under the direct supervision of the Assistant Manager, and more generally under the Center Manager, and at times will take instruction from the Physician Substitute on site. All phlebotomists will ensure donor suitability, product integrity and the continued good health of donors through the compliance with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, state regulations, and the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Manual guidelines and any other applicable regulatory standards. The rate is $15 - $18.50 per hour, depending on experience. ** MUST be able to work AM shift (6:30 AM - 2 PM), PM shift (2 PM - 9 PM), and every other weekend.**
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Set up and operate instruments used for donor qualification and donation;
- Maintain instruments used for donor qualification and donation;
- Prepare site and perform phlebotomy;
- Document operational and maintenance activities;
- Assess supply inventory; order and restock, as needed;
- Attend to donor’s needs, including donor reactions;
- Report to, and work in, another facility location (if necessary);
- Promote customer satisfaction through appropriate interaction and responsiveness to customer needs;
- Report all unsafe situations or conditions to supervisor;
- Other duties as assigned.
. Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent (must provide documentation)
- Ability to read and write English
- Basic proficiency in computer operations (Microsoft Word and Excel)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Read computer screens, procedure manuals and other documents
- Hear doorbells, alarms, telephone, and other mechanical devices
- Stand for up to (7) hours a time
- Work confidently while being observed during frequent quality inspections
