Assists Registered Pharmacist in both clerical and technical activities under the regulations of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Performs duties in support of the Crozer-Keystone Health System and Hospital mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner. Age range of patient population served: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, And Geriatric.

• Fills unit dose carts with twenty-four (24) hour supply of medications for each patient.
• Ensures that each patient's drawer contains the correct number of doses and correct drug. Ensures that doses are correctly labeled and within expiration dates.
• Refills all carts within established time frames.
• Replenishes satellites with correct amount of drugs and supplies.
• Fills new orders with correct number of doses, correct drug and dosage forms within 20 minutes of receipt of order, and 15 minutes after receipt of order for "Stat" medications.
• Responds to "Stat" requests for pharmacy services within 15 minutes.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must demonstrate mathematical proficiency.
• Technician Certification or graduate of Pharmacy Technician Training Program desirable.
• Mathematics, reading, computer skills required.
