We are looking for an Area Director of Pharmacy.

We are a comprehensive healthcare organization. Our network include hospitals offering major medical services, acute care and a full range of medical services.

What You'll Do:

• You will work collaboratively with other pharmacy leaders and be responsible for all pharmacy services and operations within your region.

• Responsible for the general supervision of the delivery and documentation of pharmaceutical care provided to patients using the medication use process (selecting, prescribing, dispensing, administration and monitoring of medicines).
• Responsible for day-to-day management of pharmacy staff including scheduling, annual evaluations, orientation, counseling, interviewing candidates, approval of time cards, hiring and discipline of employees.

What You'll Need For This Job:

• Current California Registered Pharmacist
• 6+ years Pharmacy experience in hospitals and clinics

• 4+ year of area/regional Pharmacy supervisor/manager/director experience.
• Graduate of an ACPE accredited Pharmacy School with Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Completion of an ASHP accredited Pharmacy Residency program.
