Maintenance Manager IV – Power / Recovery

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing all phases of maintenance in the Macon Mill Power and Recover area(s). These areas include Power Boilers, Recovery boilers, Turbine Generators, Evaporators, Waster and Water treatment utilities. This is a leadership role where the individual is responsible for providing direction, guidance and support for all direct and indirect reports. Individual will be primarily responsible for the safety, efficiency, productivity, engagement and overall effectiveness of the area maintenance workforce.

Job Responsibilities

· Manage the continuous improvement of Power and Recovery reliability systems.

· Setting daily, weekly and monthly maintenance priorities.

· Develop a 5-year reliability improvement and equipment maintenance strategy.

· Development and execution of the annual repair budget.

· Managing the planning, work execution, lubrication, vibration and other preventative maintenance and equipment care efforts.

· Exhibiting safety leadership and encouraging safety engagement

· Ensuring 100% environmental compliance

· Ensuring 100% compliance to State, insurance and company operating regulations

· Setting daily, weekly and monthly maintenance priorities.

· Working with Manufacturing excellence (ME) organization and process engineering to implement sustainable cost reduction projects

· Working with Reliability organization and process control implement sustainable reliability improvement projects

· Support Major outage planning and execution activities

Qualifications

· BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience (Mechanical Engineer Preferred)

· Five plus years of relevant maintenance or operations management experience

· Supervisory experience (Preferably in both maintenance and production)

· Thorough knowledge of reliability concepts and application

· Demonstrated leadership

· Demonstrated ability to create and sustain change

· Demonstrated ability to engage a work force

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Proactive problem solver

Preferred Qualification

· Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Experience in the pulp & paper industry preferred

Pay: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
