Outdoor Inc. is looking to fill several positions on our environmental crew!

The role of this team is to install Vapor Intrusion and Radon Mitigation systems in industrial settings. This is done by coring concrete slabs and installing a complex system of pipes to draw air from beneath the slab to vent harmful vapor through the roof. We are seeking hard-working, mechanically inclined, project-oriented, motivated individuals with experience in one of the following areas: pipe fitting, general plumbing, or general construction.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in onsite building evaluations.
• Installation of Vapor Intrusion and Radon Mitigation systems including start-up, testing, documentation, and commissioning.
• Installation of sensor wells, enclosures, running conduit, wiring control panels, data gathering at start-up, mechanical balancing, and telemetric controls to stabilize pressure differentials.
• Maintenance of equipment
  • Understand and follow operating instructions.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
• Continuous learning through participation in educational opportunities and maintaining relevant certifications.

Essential Functions:

• Able to install pipe and operate mechanical equipment.
• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Pass a background check and drug test.
• Adhere to industry standard safety practices (OSHA certification a plus).
• Travel.
• Adhere to company policy.
• Work well with others.
