Employment Type : Full-Time

We are seeking a full-time tech to assist our Ophthalmologist .

Responsibilities include: taking and recording patient medical histories, preparing patients for examination, performing diagnostic testing, ocular measurements, visual acuity and refracting.

Essential Functions:

- Maintains strictest patient confidentiality.

- Obtains patient history for medical records

- Educates/informs patients about planned treatments or procedures

- Performs and records visual acuity, patient history, Fundus photography and intraocular pressures as directed by the physicians.

-Working with EHR

-Assist with in office minor procedures

-Assist with surgery scheduling

- Authorization input and insurance verification

Requirements:

- refracting a plus

-Scribe experience a plus

-Spanish speaker

-Previous experience required

Position is Full time
