Description: Network Systems Administrator II/ IT Field Engineer Benefits: Location(s): Woodbridge, VA (Local travel required to client sites) Employment Eligibility: Eligible to work for any employer in the United States without requiring sponsorship. Sponsorship is not available currently. Position Summary: Work in conjunction with a team to configure and maintain facility network topologies including wired and wireless connectivity. Able to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network equipment and peripherals to ensure smooth network operation. Monitor, test, and document network hardware configurations, security settings, processes, policy compliance, backup procedures, and other activities. Required Skills & Experience: Education: Bachelor’s in a technical discipline preferred, not required Years of experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator, Help Desk II, or related role in the support and management of complex networks. MSP (managed service provider) or field engineering experience, preferred. Required Skills: Networking Skills: Systems Administrator Skills: Help Desk: Certifications desired: MCSE, CCNA, NETWORK+, A+, Security +, etc. Desired Experience: Experience working at an MSP.
