Second & Third Shift for now, 24 x 5 days support work environment (M-F) Local to Richmond, VA candidates only.
Responsibilities include: There will be occasional weekend coverage required to support change implementation not to exceed twice per month on an occasional basis. Shift coverage will be planned and weekly shift coverage will be adjusted accordingly. Fifteen days advanced notice is required. NTT will ensure that key onsite engineering staff have completed the Cisco Managing Industrial Networks with Cisco Networking Technologies. Network Architecture: Foundation / Intermediate training.
1. Monitor the queue and work incident tickets following the Incident Management process and other service elements defined in Exhibit 2.1. Updates and resolution of tickets will be updated in Customer ITSM (e.g. Service Now) either through E-bond or manually.
2. Pre-approved Service Request completion
3. Patching of LAN systems
4. Develop test lab processes and procedures in support of the Consulting Engineer
5. Execute approved changes from Customer’s Change approval process
6. Participate in meetings as assigned by Customer
7. IP address configuration and documentation of in-scope devices, IP address documentation of endpoints within Customer’s IPAM solution
8. Network documentation updates
9. Updating Change Management and CMDB updates in Customer owned ITSM system (e.g., ServiceNow).
10. Working with Consulting Engineer on capacity planning
11. Other day to day activities to be defined and mutually agreed in Transition Certified Cisco engineer with 5 plus years’ experience supporting Level 1 and Level 2 Support functions. Strong customer service skills working with a diverse and fast pace environment, and the ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts, both verbally and written.
