JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY

The Marketing Communications Project Manager will develop and oversee content and demand generation, email programs, social media, tradeshows, advertising, and other marketing channels. This role will be remote based, but will have ties to the West Chester, PA facility. The Marketing Communications Project Manager is responsible for the implementation, coordination and completion of marketing projects and tasks. Oversees all aspects of projects, gathers / generates content, project execution, and monitors and summarizes progress of projects via KPIs and other metrics. Primary focus on content execution and promotion, with involvement in other tactical programs for tradeshows, advertising, public relations and website work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Own and manage the global content plan, including execution and promotion of content pieces (emails, website content, videos, technical papers, presentations)
• Develop and execute plans to promote and distribute content (email campaigns, website landing pages, social media promotions, blogs, etc.)
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party contributors on a global basis for to support and execute various projects
• Create and maintain detailed schedules to ensure campaigns are remaining on track and all translated assets are being delivered to respective partners across regions on time
• Create global marketing and sales collateral, including maintenance of product catalog
• Manage and own tradeshow logistics and promotions
• Work with third-party vendors for advertising/digital advertising planning and content
• Work with third-party vendors for Public Relations
• As required, lead special projects within the department

• Strong organizational skills and project management – ability to work with multiple information systems, organize and retrieve data from these systems. Technically capable with a desire to both build and improve processes.
• Ability to scope, manage and continuously reprioritize multiple complex projects simultaneously – strong time and workload management skills, setting clear expectations with leaders and partners
• Able to effectively move between strategy and tactics
• Must have strong attention to detail, tenacity to see a project through a highly matrixed organization with a strong sense of urgency
• Strong commercial writing and copy-editing skills with a willingness to accept edits
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional work environment at a global scale with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy along with strong interpersonal skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience
• At least 5 years’ experience in marketing / communications, and/or project/product management
• Experience with manufacturing/industrial/or motion control industry preferred. Knowledge of the motion control industry is highly desirable and will enhance the candidates ability to understand market needs / conditions to translate into effective tactical programs
• Experience in a global marketing role – working with regional partners in Europe, Asia/Pacific (APAC), and the Americas
• Understanding of Marketing Automation as communication tool
• Previous B2B marketing experience for a broad portfolio of products a plus
• Experience or basic knowledge of various marketing tools
