Job Description Our Financials Management Product Management team at Workday is growing and we are seeking a Manager, Product Management for our Core Financials enterprise business applications based out of our Pleasanton, CA office. Are you a product manager, financial consultant or product subject matter expert experienced in the financial close process? About the Role: When you start, you will gain in-depth knowledge of our applications, product development methodology and processes through formal and informal training. Then as the product expert you will be the end-to-end experience owner, the “face” of the product area, the product champion and the point of contact for implementation consultants, support, sales, services and product marketing. You will own the roadmap and strategy for the Core Financials product while also leading a team of high-performing product managers who drive features through the product development lifecycle, while working in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will collaborate across application teams that support a large number of live customers globally. In addition, you will participate in customer facing situations and user conferences as a product expert. About You: Solutions and customer success-oriented A fast learner, detail-oriented, decisive, and enjoy a fast-paced work environment An initiative taker, early adopter, technology enthusiast A good communicator, presenter and collaborator Can influence without direct authority Skills/Experience: 10+ years experience as an enterprise financials product manager or consultant Passion and ideas for how to build better financial enterprise business applications Experience leading or mentoring a team of technical experts Proven design skills for packaged financial applications for large global enterprises Solid knowledge of financial and accounting rules, processes and regulations Experience with SaaS is a plus Experience with scrum and other agile development methods is a plus BS / BA, MBA degree or equivalent work experience
