We seek a dedicated individual who will be responsible for performing various mechanical, maintenance and repair work including the inspection and maintenance work required for rotating machinery and equipment. The mechanic may inspect and adjust the mechanical alignment of pumps, replace or rebuild pumps, replace fan bearings, replace motors, repair screw conveyors, rebuild or change gearboxes, install and modify pipe lines, and assist in the modification and addition of plant projects.

To qualify you must have at least (5) years experience in the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license is a must. Formal technical or apprenticeship training is desired. Must be fluent in reading blue prints and P&ID's. Must be capable of performing welding in SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW. Welding of stainless, inconel, etc. a plus - must be able to certify or qualify to NBIC code specs.

Strong leadership and motivational skills are a must. Must be able to work various shifts.

Position Requirements
Duties require frequent and extended periods of outside and inside work, subject to all weather conditions and extremes; continuous walking, standing, climbing and frequent periods requiring sustained uncomfortable physical positions; regular and sustained periods of strenuous physical exertion, requiring the ability to lift, carry and position heavy objects utilizing proper body mechanics and techniques; operation of tools and equipment which cause loud noise and vibrations.
