Description

MACHINE OPERATOR responsible for packaging product for yard to meet daily production goals. The position is full-time, scheduled to work 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required due to production demands, including some Fridays and Saturdays.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Operate and maintain banding equipment

· Identify, record, and report product yarded daily

· Verify product that is being banded is properly labeled

· Daily care, maintenance and cleaning of manufacturing equipment and work area

· Operate powered lift truck

· Assist in other areas of production, including assisting machine operators

· Work safely and within time constraints

· Emptying tubs and or dump hoppers as needed

· Clean in accordance with 5S program

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, and quality-driven with the following skill set:

· Ability to quickly and easily understand machine operation and theory of operation

· Basic math skills

· Working knowledge of basic hand tools

· Ability to properly lift up to 85 lbs. repeatedly

· Current forklift, front-end loader, and Bobcat certification, or the ability to obtain required

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
