Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Wilmington, CA
Duration: Full Time

About Client:
It is a prominent leader in the agribusiness; specializing in the cultivation, production and trading of animal feed and essential human food commodities. The group owns and operates a large asset base including a land bank of 200 thousand acres, 8 forage pressing and production plants, 4 rice milling plants and 2 flour milling plants. Specialized in Animal Feed Farming and Production, Grains Processing and Trading, Fruits and Vegetables Cultivation and Supply, and Supply Chain Management

RESPONSIBILITIES::-

• Responsible for the design, preparation, maintenance, and publishing of several high profile financial reports within our organizations finance & accounting division.
• Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis
• Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual profit
• Prepare Cost projections and analysis
• Analyze and report on current financial status
• Conduct thorough research of historical financial data
• Coordinate with executive team both locally and globally on long-term financial planning
• Prepare variance to budget and identify areas of opportunity
• Participate and coordinate preparation of annual budget
• Participate in month end close process as directed
• Establish policies in line with global recommendations and strategy
• Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts
• Assist with Accounts payables & accounts receivables
• Assist with some of the accounting functions related to budgeting, cost analysis and corporate accounting
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Recommended Qualifications::-

• BA in Accounting or Finance
• Proven work experience in accounting or finance
• Hands-on experience with finance database and organization of raw data
• Experience with MS Excel, including PowerPivot, Crystal Ball, and advanced formulas
• Understanding and experience working in ERPs
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent ability to prioritize multiple critical priorities
• Outstanding communication abilities
• Proven ability to handling confidential and sensitive financial information
