Job Description Overview:

The role of the Production– Framing Lead is to follow the production line within the department. Certain duties require machine operation, while others require more hand tools.

Compensation: $14.50 – $16.60 +

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all critical and rush orders are executed in a timely manner
• Ensure all areas have materials required for workers to complete tasks efficiently
• Oversee the day to day activities to meet expectations
• Train new team members and coach current employees
• Report all incidents including but not limited to accidents, poor performance, attendance, machinery malfunctions.
• Pull correct material
• Organizing orders as they come in from the Paper Print and Frame shop departments
• Use measuring devices such as tapes, gauges, rules.
• Assemble or disassemble objects.
• Must be able to help out on the production line of Framing
• Work rapidly for long periods.
• Work on several tasks at the same time.

• Strong eye for detail.
• Communicate with co-workers, management, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
• Conform to all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.

• Safety glasses must be worn at all times
• Ear protection is viable but not required

Steel toe cap or composite safety shoes must be worn at all times; provided by the employee

Additional Task and Responsibilities

• Other duties and special projects as assigned
• Work directly with the Production Supervisor on special projects as needed.

EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING:

• High School diploma, G.E.D or equivalent work experience
• Preferred general production experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Must be able to do basic math
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be detail oriented and organized.
• Must be able to work on many different projects at one time.
