We are looking for responsible Lab Assistants to support COVID testing. Successful candidates will enjoy working in a fast-paced laboratory environment, dedicated to accuracy, and aren't afraid of hard work.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Enter patient information into Laboratory Information Software
- Label specimens with appropriate barcodes
- Handle laboratory specimens to ensure accuracy and quality control
- Prepares, cleans, sterilizes, maintains, and shuts down Laboratory equipment, accessories, and instruments
- Responsible for filing, tracking, retrieval, and accurate record keeping
Skills:
- Computer literacy and experience with Laboratory Information Systems
- Accuracy and close attention to detail
- Strong analytical judgement
- Visual acuity (including color discrimination) to distinguish fine detail
- Familiarity with automated laboratory equipment a strong plus
- Manual dexterity to use common laboratory equipment and perform sterile techniques as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Full-time temporary positions with possibility to become permanent.
Background check and drug screen, including marijuana, required.
