The Key Account Manager II should be detail-oriented and demonstrate expertise in category management, operations, merchandising, store support, customer service, reporting and analysis. This individual should be ready to work in a fast-paced environment, have great communication and teamwork skills, and should have the ability to project manage through planning and scheduling. An ideal candidate works independently, is proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel and queries, and is a problem solver.

Responsibilities: 1. Manage inventory Auto Replenishment, warehousing and manual orders a. Process manual store orders b. Work with team to determine AR setting adjustments and changes c. Manage new or transition store launch kits 2. Provide support for Customer Service, Fraud, and Credit Requests a. Research, submit and follow up on individual fraud or credit requests as needed. b. Work closely with retailer to resolve store issues with activations, fraud, etc. c. Provide new item information to fraud team for rule setup 3. Accounting support a. Provide reporting for specific monthly accounting needs – back commissions, customer service billing, etc. b. Regular support, troubleshooting and resolution for billing issues 4. Support merchandising relationship a. Work closely with team to support merchandising planning and initiatives b. Research and respond to store merchandising requests and issues c. Review and audit report and pictures provided by merchandisers to ensure execution and compliance with account team and retailer strategy d. Worth with select card partners on specific visit needs and help negotiate funding 5. Upkeep of information databases a. Keep up to date store list, track openings, closings, and store conversions b. Update shared drive for the team c. Distribute pricebooks, product lists, etc. 6. Assist with new item setup and the launch process at our top retailers a. Submit new item setup information to InComm and retailers b. Work with team to submit launch projects on internal systems c. Help facilitate product testing 7. Trade Shows a. Assist Sales team with planning and participating in retailer trade shows 8. Reporting and analysis a. Ad hoc reporting as needed for new items, promotional periods, etc. b. Provide monthly reporting for retailer sales 9. Assist and participate in reviews and presentations a. Assist in planning and participate in quarterly and annual reviews b. Collaborate with Sales Manager and team on presentations, agendas, and planning 10. Inventory Forecasting and Management a. Forecasting inventory needs for product categories b. Participate in weekly auto replenishment review calls c. Request allocations and transfers to fulfill needs 11. Marketing a. Assist with planning promotional activities b. Ensure setup processes at retailers are followed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 to 5 years of Account Management experience
  • Communication and teamwork
  • Business strategy and process skills
  • Proven ability to function in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment
  • Ability to create and analyze product sales reports
  • Proven ability to create and implement strategic plans
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Must be driven to identify and meet customer needs and expectations
  • Ability to listen attentively, respond effectively and resolve client issues
  • Ability to project manage through planning and scheduling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including experience with pivot tables.
  • Proven ability to work independently
