POSITION TITLE: Work-Based Learning Coordinator & CTE Student Service

Employment Liaison and Grant Writer

REPORTS TO: Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Certified Salary Schedule; 220 days per year

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of three years of teaching experience is preferred. Knowledge and experience in the area of school to work programs, career and technical education teaching experience and work supervision experience preferred. Experience seeking out and applying for grants preferred.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise the district-wide implementation of the Internship (work-based learning) and School-Based Enterprise programs in coordination with the Principal.
• Serve as the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Community Liaison, coordinating and supervising the network of community sites used for work-based learning placements for Internship Students.
• Provide support to school-based enterprises and assist with coordination of facilities.
• Actively pursue grant opportunities and complete grant applications.
• Coordinate resources with local businesses.
• Serve as Jessamine County Schools Representative on the Chamber of Commerce for Jessamine County.
• Actively build connections with local businesses to provide potential employment opportunities for students and former students.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Principal.
