The IT Business Intelligence Analyst II partners with business and APS managers to understand and prioritize data and information requirements. Focuses on design and support of business intelligence ("BI") applications and architecture. Solves technical problems and optimizes performance of business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and index. 1) Manages large complex projects and systems relating to information design and business intelligence Flex Role:

Nuclear requirement: Any PVNGS employee may be called upon to serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization (ERO) and will be expected to fulfill their obligation as an ERO member.
Any PVNGS employee may be called upon to support a refueling or short-notice outage. This includes line roles and responsibilities as necessary to execute outage activities. These are a condition of employment at PVNGS.
2) Evaluates internal customers' needs and abilities in order to provide appropriate solutions
3) Conducts analyses of functional business processes and requirements for a wide range of requests using data in different formats and from various platforms
4) Interprets business requirements and determines BI solutions to meet needs; Provides input to business requirements for the design of solutions
5) Provides input to new technology opportunities with impact on the enterprise-wide BI systems
6) Designs enterprise-wide custom reports/views/dashboards
7) Researches business problems and creates models that support analysis
8) Analyzes testing results to ensure the solution meets the needs of the business
9) Researches tools, frameworks and mechanisms for BI needs
10) Provides input to standards, policies and procedures for the form, structure, and attributes of the BI tools and systems.
11) Serves as a highly experienced and knowledgeable resource within the organization on information design and business intelligence
12) Leads information design training and provides assistance/expertise to employees
13) Responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other information design and business intelligence within job area
