Gaskins Surveying and Engineering is seeking qualified applicants for our Instrument Operator / Land Surveyor position located in our Marietta office. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment as a key member of a survey crew. This work is ideal for someone who enjoys being outside and doesn't mind the weather. The position has the opportunity for advancement for a motivated individual. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist party chief with staking
• Assist PC with anything else needed to complete job
• Give back-sites and cut line where necessary
• Keep axe sharp
• Load truck
• Keep the truck clean
• Ensure that all PPE & survey tools are with you

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated, highly reliable and great work ethic

• Exposure to outdoor environments
• Ability to withstand extreme weather conditions (i.e. hot and freezing temperatures)
• Pre-employment drug testing and background check is required as a condition of employment
• Must have a valid Drivers License

Hourly rate commensurate with experience and education plus an end of the year bonus. This is a FULL TIME position that includes benefits, 401K plan and Paid Time Off.
