Ridgeline International is seeking an Instructional Designer to support our online/ in-person design and delivery modalities. In this role, you will create, design, develop, instructional materials, learning resources and content. The successful candidate will have a combination of education and work experience in online instructional design/learning experience design in complex topics.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, implement and evaluate enterprise-wide learning solutions in support of Ridgeline’s business objectives.
• Partner with SMEs and key stakeholders to develop learning paths and curriculum content that reflects sound instructional design based on adult learning principles and best practices.
• Demonstrate expertise in online instructional design systems, learning technologies and adult learning best practices.
• Maintains progressive knowledge of the trends in learning experience design, learning methodologies and learning technology solutions.
• Work across functions with peers in other groups to ensure collaboration for shared goals

What you’ll accomplish in the first six months:

• Develop, design and implement innovative online and in-person learning experiences
• Develop and design materials such as lesson plans, lesson content, learning objectives and assessment tools.

Must-haves:

• Active Secret Clearance
• 3+ years of experience in instructional design
• Bachelor's degree and/or Masters in instructional design, curriculum and instruction or educational technology
• High proficiency with Adobe tool suite (Photoshop, Premiere) or similar tools and screen casting such as Camtasia
• Candidate must have the ability to incorporate multimedia where appropriate

Nice-to-haves:

• Web Design and Moodle Administrator
• Experience with Academia and delivery of content to 1000+ students
• Portfolio of Past performance to show capability and current ability if able
• Video Developer experience
