Goldman Sachs - Dallas, TX

Employment Type : Full-Time

MORE ABOUT THIS JOB:Design at the Investment Banking Division (IBD)
The IBD team works on some of the most complex financial challenges and transactions in the market today. Whether advising on a merger, providing financial solutions for an acquisition, or structuring an IPO, we handle projects that help a diverse range of clients achieve major milestones.
Designers and engineers on the IBD team work together to build the best systems and solutions possible to make these achievements a reality. The products we support present unique and sophisticated challenges not often found in other businesses. As such, our environment relies on thoughtful strategic thinkers to push the boundaries of what we build and how we build. Our designers believe that great design shouldn’t be reserved for consumer products and we believe in the impact design can make on enterprise software and the tools our business runs on every day.
The Role

We are looking for a Product Designer who possesses a broad skillset supporting an end-to-end user-centered-design approach to your work, as well as a more advanced skillset in Interaction and Interface Design. The majority of our work focuses on our internal enterprise systems which our bankers rely heavily on.
You should be comfortable with ambiguity and asking questions to form an understanding of a problem before you solve it – and then, feel confident in your ability to translate those learnings and insights into thoughtful and detailed design artifacts. You should also understand the value of design systems and possess thoughtful judgement when working with one.
In this role, you will work directly with engineers, bankers, and senior stakeholders. You will have a large degree of autonomy and ownership over the final designs.
