Salary $18.15 - $29.04 Hourly $37,752 - $60,403 Annually This position is a Pay Band 60 THIS POSTING WILL BE USED TO CONDUCT ONGOING RECRUITMENT AND WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED. The purpose of this position is to provide administrative Human Resource support to the Department of Health/Public Health Division/Southwest Region. This position will serve as the key resource person for all Human Resource functions of the Southwest Region. Interviews are anticipated to be conducted within two weeks of closing date. This position will provide personnel and Human Resources support to SW Region staff on compensation, payroll, and benefits. Prepare documents to assist Region Administrator in tracking personnel budget, payroll reports and corrections, Staffing Plan, etc. State employees and potential candidates. Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in human resource operations; recruitment, selection, payroll, compensation and benefits administration, labor relations, investigation, HR related training experience and/or occupational analysis. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of continued employment. The position provides assistance with the interpretation of State Personnel Board Rules, Department of Health policies and procedures, federal and state laws related to Human Resources.
Minimum Qualification
1 High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 4 years of experience OR High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 4 years of experience
2 Associate's degree in the field(s) specified in the minimum qualification AND 2 years of experience Associate's degree or higher in any field AND 4 years of experience
3 Bachelor's degree or higher in the field(s) specified in the minimum qualification AND 0 years of experience
Employment Requirements
The Public Health Order (on Vaccination) dated December 2, 2021, requires Congregate Care Facility Workers and Hospital Workers to have received a primary series of vaccination by October 6, 2021, and a booster dose of vaccine by January 17, 2022, or within four weeks of becoming eligible for a booster.
