Global Workplace Strategist Details

The Global Workplace Strategist reports to the Director of Global Space Planning, as part of the Global Planning team. They will be responsible for partnering with Regional Space Planning Leads in the Americas (excluding the bay area), LATAM, EMEA and APAC to implement global space planning initiatives. Providing support and oversight on workplace strategy, Client partnership, and change management. The Global space planner will also be responsible for the delivery of real estate reporting for leadership and development of tooling. To be successful in this role you, should have a strong background in space and occupancy planning, influence and lead client relationships. Have strong analytical skills, be able to ensure accurate reporting of space and real estate data, and have strong presentation skills to visualize data, and have strong communication skills.


Global Workplace Strategist Responsibilities:

  • Partner on strategic space planning initiatives, with oversight to location strategy.
  • Partner with Regional Space Planning leads in developing space options and proposals for complex planning scenarios and migration plans, and help to align strategic space planning with business (client leads).
  • Partner with Regional Space Planning leads to support the implementation of workplace strategies including flexible seating programs and planning for technical spaces. Provide partnership on client relationship, change management and employee experience.
  • Support Ad hoc request and data analysis for space planning initiatives.
  • Partner and work cross functionally with (Space planning, Central programs, Analytics, internal communications) teams to support implementation and change management of special programs.
  • Support data and development of tool enhancements for existing space planning tooling. Work to Develop new tooling and advanced excel files for use by space planning.
  • Deliver monthly/quarterly real estate reporting used in leadership communications.
  • Support analysis of finance reporting for real estate of both budget and long range plan cycles. This includes analysis and comparison of growth rates, remote work etc., by location, by region.



Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in related Space or Occupancy Planning role, Data Analysis
  • Experience in implementing flexible workplace strategies and change management
  • Experience in client relationship and change management with focus on workplace experience



Preferred Qualifications:
  • Highly developed negotiation skills, requiring a very strong customer engagement aspect.
  • Excellent customer communication skills including strong organizational, interpersonal skills.
  • Analysis of real estate and space related data, experience driving decisions based on data.
