Gillinder Glass 39 Erie Street Port Jervis, NY 12771 845-856-5375 ext. 1025 Established in 1861, Gillinder Glass is a sixth generation owned custom technical molded and filter glass manufacturer located in Port Jervis, New York. The company specializes in pressed and custom molded, clear and colored glass products “Made in the USA”. The glass inspector is responsible for performing various tasks necessary in the inspection of specialty molded glass products off the production line. The glass inspector must be able to follow detailed work instructions including maintaining precise measurements and tolerance limits. Tasks will include, but are not limited to, inspecting glass for defects or damage, moving and packing finished product (if necessary), maintain proper counts of product, completion of proper paperwork. The glass inspector must be able to frequently or continuously stand, bend, reach, lift and carry materials used in operations. Benefits offered include:

The successful candidate must have an eye for detail and be able to work independently in a busy manufacturing environment and have good communication skills. Demonstration of workplace safety while meeting production targets is required. Flexibility in work assignments is necessary as production needs frequently change.
